After several years of babysitting and becoming a trusted child care resource throughout the state of New York, I decided to launch The Babysitter Guru.
Through my brand―The Babysitter Guru―I offer speaking, education and consulting to solve pressing challenges faced by everyday families and child care brands.
I am a young, innovative and resolute entrepreneur with an unwavering passion for pursuing my dreams. I discovered my passion stemmed from the very position I was pursuing as an alternative to earning extra income, which was BABYSITTING. I realized there weren’t enough credible resources out there to provide caregivers information that would be useful.
The Babysitter Guru empowers babysitters through informational content and resources to better their journey and experience in caring for children while also being an expert for parents to ease their transition into seeking quality childcare.
As a loving babysitter and dedicated advocate for the past 8+ years, my goal was to create a platform to educate others on best practices and also provide guidance. Whether it’s making a difference for one babysitter or several, my dream is to create an impact within the childcare industry.

We have known Hassanatou for almost 2 years now. She babysits for our two children, now turning 5 and 2. She also watched our newborn when I returned to work 2-3 days per week for several months, including household chores. Hassanatou is dependable, positive, and hard-working – providing updates and always asking questions when she needed. Hassanatou is kind, patient, cheerful and does a wonderful job taking care of our children. When trying to find a sitter it was so hard to find someone reliable. Hassanatou is a very reliable person, she will treat your children like they are her own. I left my 3 children with her for 4 days and when I came back, my girls were very happy and had a lot of fun with her. She is great with children and they love her, she keeps them entertained.
Hassanatou is excellent with children of all ages, she is also a very responsible babysitter who remains calm in any situation. One of the aspects of Hassanatou’s personality that I loved the most is her ability to attach to children and make them comfortable.
